Raazuvaa, the Maldivian variation of the popular game of chess is played very much the same as regular chess albeit with some slight differences. Our unique take on the game stays true to the Maldivian designs of old, using locally sourced kuredhi, and machine like precision to ensure all of our pieces are up to standard measurements of a base diameter of around 30mm. As homage to the lacquer work of our island, these pieces come painted in a variety of colours ranging from red, black and yellow. Our wooden boards are the epitome of quality with white pinewood and dark hardwood coming together to create a visual masterpiece.
